From the northern border, the village Glarus, the region reaches down to the North of Ticino county.Eastern border runs along the San Bernardino pass road and the western border is formed by the upper Valais county (Goms). Does include alpine passes like, Lukmanierpass, Oberalp pass, St. Gotthard pass, Klausenpass, Furkapass, Nufenenpass, Grimselpass and Sustenpass.
