Summit of the Passo di Falzarego, where during the Dolomite war heavy fightings between Austrians and Italians have taken place. The picture shows on the left hand side the cable car station that brings you up to the biggest free air war museum with bunker lines and an outstanding panoramic view across the Dolomite Alps.

We took the picture from the Passo di Valparola back to Passo di Falzarego. The Valparola is a little bit higher and the photo shows the road we just came from and the locations where we took picture one and two on this page.

Summit of the Passo di Falzarego. The road that leaves the picture on the left hand side leads down to Andráz and follows the “Great Dolomite Panoramic Road” towards Bolzano. The road that runs right aside the small chapel leads up to the Passo di Valparola. Behind the photographer you will find the pass road that runs down to Cortina d’Ampezzo.
